Motorola is expected to announce the Razr 70 Ultra (or Razr Ultra 2026 if you’re in the US) very soon, and we’ve already seen CADs from Onleaks for this new device.
Now, courtesy of Onleaks, we have a couple of press renders.
These press renders show the Razr 70 Ultra in two new colors: Orient Blue Alcantara and Pantone Cocoa Wood. So Motorola is sticking with the wood and alcantara color options from last year, which were a major hit with the Razr 60 Ultra (Razr Ultra 2025).
It’s very likely that these are not the only colors for the Razr 70 Ultra this year. We’ve already seen it leak in a “Pantone African Violet” color, and last year, the Razr 60 Ultra was available in four colors.
One of the first things you’ll notice here is that there’s no front-facing camera on the Razr 70 Ultra. Which means one of two things: either Motorola has decided to go with an under-display camera, or Motorola forgot to render it in these press renders. It’s most likely the latter. Though we would love to see a UDC on the Razr this year.
Motorola Razr 70 Ultra is expected to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5
Last year, when Motorola first debuted the ‘Ultra’ variant of the Razr family, it did so using the Snapdragon 8 Elite, and we expect that to be the case again this year with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. This is despite the Razr Fold being announced with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 already.
Motorola is also expected to pair this with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage again, like last year’s model had. Which could cause a price increase, but we won’t know for certain until later this Summer. The Razr 60 Ultra was only available in two storage models, with a 1TB model also being available.
Motorola is also sticking to two cameras here, with both of them being 50-megapixel sensors, and a 50-megapixel front-facing camera.
The battery inside is expected to stick to about 4,700mAh, which is quite impressive for a flip-style foldable, and it’ll have 68W charging. This is actually pretty impressive since this is USB-C PD charging and not USB-A charging like a lot of the other Chinese devices on the market.
When will Motorola announce the Razr 70 Ultra?
Motorola hasn’t officially announced the Razr event yet, but based on the past few years, we are expecting it to happen later this month.

Which means that we don’t have much longer to wait for the Razr 70 series, or the Razr 2026 in the US. Motorola is likely looking to do an earlier announcement this year, so it can get the FIFA World Cup models out ahead of the World Cup. As that World Cup is taking place in North America this year, starting in early June. |
